Professional Characteristics

Programmable Dosing

With the programmable timed dosing you are able to program single and double doses to have your brews ready at the press of a button. This allows you to keep your extraction consistent with the ease of a button. Manual extractions are also available.

The Soft Infusion System, developed by the techs at Simonelli, is an innovative pre-infusion system that is adjustable, consistent and has no risk of user error. It is unique because it extracts centrifugally by injecting water at different angles into the coffee cake which eliminates channeling and maximizes espresso extraction by creating more contact time between the water and coffee.

Thermostability

Fitted with a commercial grade grouphead the brew temperature stability is aided by the E61 style group head which is heated by a thermosyphon system and also by the copper boiler and water lines. Copper is known for heat retentive qualities, which is why Simonelli included them in their machines.

Minimal Design

Among the new features of Oscar II is to the extensive use of stainless steel that immediately shows strength and solidity, as well as enhancing the machine. Minimal design ensures the machine fits in different types of environment.
